Caught On Camera: Suspect steals security cameras from Yosemite Middle School

FRESNO, Calif. – Police need your help identifying a suspect accused of ripping out  security cameras  from a Fresno middle school. This suspect isn’t just accused of stealing from schools. Police say he’s burglarizing city property and it’s caught on camera. The warning is clear at this Fresno City water pump station.  Security cameras  are on. Last week those cameras recorded a man breaking in. Police say he stole the camera, an air conditioning unit and a metal door. Five days later, detectives say the same suspect trespasses onto Yosemite Middle School. He appears to scope out the area as he walks through the hallway before ripping out this security camera. “These cameras are pretty expensive that Fresno Unified has installed and we’re looking at a $2,000 loss from the school just on this case alone,” said Detective Donnie Dinnell. Dinnell says the suspect stole two cameras that night and police believe he’s tied to Tioga Middle School’s missing cameras. ...

Telangana: 8-year-old hit by speeding bike, flung into air, dies on spot

An eight-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a speeding bike in Karimnagar district of Telangana on Sunday. The accident, which took place at the Gangadhar crossing, was caught on a security surveillance camera (CCTV). According to the CCTV footage, the boy, identified as Akshaya, along with his mother and sister was crossing the road when all of a sudden he ran towards the other end of the road. At that moment, a speeding bike hit him, and the boy was flung into the air before hitting the ground. Passersby rushed the boy to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. There is a significant increase in the focus on home and personal security . This is according to Roy Alves, country manager of Axis Communications, who points to a steep surge in the deployment of home and residential security solutions.
